Dewey is done and ready to go at Mels. The first decent snow and we’ll groom the paved trail south so the sleds know where to go, and then over to the farm. Dewey is to be kept in the EAST red storage building. Come in the SOUTH door. The groomer should be backed in.
Dewey is ready and waiting for snow. At Mel’s house right now.
Groomer training will be in November and December. Please email iowasnowdrifters@gmail.com if you want to be included.
Track is off of Dewey. The grouser bars (metal cleats) are going to be bent a bit to prevent snow from packing in the channel. Either they will be spread out or cut into a j shape.
The front spindle is broken and will be replaced. Minor fix but important.

The track went back on Dewey today. Mel, Bill, Derrick, Rob and Ron all spent Sunday morning putting it back together. A big thanks to Mel for spending the time on this project and thanks for everyone for helping.
